Motivational in tone, this new video program encourages viewers to take seriously the proper wearing and maintenance of assisted breathing systems. The program opens with an overview of the various types of breathing hazards (i.e., particulate fumes, oxygen deficiency, etc.), and the problems they pose to one's health. The video demonstrates and explains the different types of systems, such as air-supplied respirators and air-purifying respirators. It then explains the various procedures (medical testing, site evaluation, emergency plans, maintenance and training) that have been developed to protect people from respiratory hazards. |
