GENERAL INFORMATION
Scope
The Journal of Agricultural Safety and Health is an interdisciplinary, refereed journal designed to foster identification and discussion of the issues of agricultural safety and health. Articles and commentary that bridge the following disciplines in addressing agricultural safety and health issues are of particular interest: engineering, occupational safety, industrial hygiene, public health, social psychology, education, and public policy.
Areas of Interest Identification, reporting, treatment, and prevention of agricultural and rural trauma and illness; engineering design and the application of human factors engineering; safety and health intervention strategies and program effectiveness; the role, impact, and development of agricultural safety and health standards, legislation, and regulation; and professional development issues concerning agricultural safety and health.
Original research projects, evaluations of current intervention and demonstration projects, literature reviews, the application of new or modified theories and models to agricultural safety and health problems, critical commentaries, and editorials on current issues are welcomed.
